Assessment will occur over two (2) days, after training and logbook completion. * The participant is to undertake workplace training with a supervisor using the log book provided upon enrolment, to record the outlined tasks. The supervisor must hold the relevant high risk work licence. Workplace training can occur before the course or after the theoretical component. Evidence of this informal learning must be produced to the assessor prior to undertaking the mandated performance assessment.
Participants will be required to successfully complete a series of Workplace Health and Safety Queensland mandated assessment items – including written knowledge and calculations assessments, plus a performance assessment.
The participant is responsible for deciding when they wish to undertake assessment. The Registered Training Organisation (RTO) will need a minimum of one (1) week notice to book a participant for their assessment.
Successful participants will receive an assessment summary (AS1) from the accredited assessor and a Statement of Attainment from the RTO. For participants seeking a high risk work licence, they must complete an online application with Workplace Health and Safety Queensland within 60 days of successfully completing the practical assessment.
