This course is intended to provide learners with a range of knowledge,
and skills to perform the functions associated with the use of swing stage scaffolds: It covers planning the job, conducting routine checks, conducting swing stage operations, shut down and securing the swing stage scaffold.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Learners must hold either:
- RIIWHS204D – Work safely at Heights (or equivalent), or
- CPCCCM2010B – Work safely at heights (or equivalent)
DELIVERY
Training for this course is delivered in a two (2) day session through a combination of face-to-face classroom and practical activity sessions. Further opportunities for practical exposure may extend this timeframe.

- USESSS001A Use swing stage scaffolds safely
ASSESSMENT REQUIREMENTS
Participants will be required to successfully complete a series of assessment tasks which may include a written exam, practical demonstration / observation, case studies, assignments and group activities.
