Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) assist in the consultation, coordination and cooperation processes. They represent workers and communicate their views up the chain of responsibility, to supervisors and management. This Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) approved course satisfies the annual refresher requirements for this role. The Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011 (Qld) states that a Health and Safety Representative is to complete ‘one day’s refresher training at least every 12 months’ commencing 12 months after the initial five day course of training.
