This course covers the skills and knowledge required to undertake intermediate scaffolding – including planning task, selecting and inspecting plant and equipment, setting up tasks, and erecting/dismantling scaffold and scaffold equipment (e.g. cantilevered craneloading platforms, cantilevered and spurred scaffolds, barrow ramps and sloping platforms, perimeter safety screens and shutters, mast climbers, and tube and coupler scaffolds).
A person undertaking intermediate scaffolding is required to hold a high risk work licence. This course meets the formal training requirements required for a licence, as outlined by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland.
