Fire wardens implement fire safety arrangements to prevent a fire from endangering the health and safety of workplace occupants. It is important for fire wardens to hold the skills and knowledge necessary to respond to be familiar with their responsibilities as a fire warden – through recognising emergencies, implementing evacuation procedures, communicating in an emergency situation, and complying with site safety requirements.
