This course covers the skills and knowledge required to operate an elevating work platform (telescoping, hinged or articulated device) – including planning work, undertaking routine checks, setting up and operating the elevating work platform, and the safe and secure shutdown of equipment after completing operations.
A person operating a boom-type elevating platform is required to hold a high risk work licence. This course meets the formal training requirements required for a licence, as outlined by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland.
