This course covers the skills and knowledge required to undertake advanced scaffolding work – including planning task, selecting and inspecting plant and equipment, setting up tasks, and erecting/dismantling scaffold and scaffold equipment (e.g. cantilevered hoists; hung scaffolds, including scaffolds hung from tubes, wire ropes or chains; and suspended scaffolds).
A person undertaking advanced scaffolding is required to hold a high risk work licence. This course meets the formal training requirements required for a licence, as outlined by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland.
