How to Enrol


Preparing to enrol is easy, and the following steps will help you in this process.

Find a course

Search for a short course or qualification and check out the outlines so you know which courses you need to enrol in. Course dates and prices can be found via the Training Calendar. 


Check your funding eligibility

CSTC can offer a subsidised fee on many of our short courses, Certificate III and Certificate IV  qualifications courtesy of Construction Skills QLD (CSQ).  CSQ provides funding to assist with upskilling and cross skilling existing workers in the building and construction industry.

Please call CSTC if you are interested in obtaining a Level III Certificate qualification under the Skills Assessment and Gap Training (SAGT) program.

Important Information

  • The CSTC training centre is centrally located at 54 Standish Street, Salisbury
  • Courses start at 7:30am and finish at 3:30pm.
  • As a condition of entry to the training centre, all persons are required to wear closed in shoes. You may be required to wear specific PPE; refer to your enrolment confirmation or the course outline page.
  • CSTC provide tea, coffee and all course materials as well as street parking.
  • There is a ‘smoko van’ that supplies food and drinks at morning tea and lunch.
  • Please ensure that you read your confirmation letter carefully as it contains important information about the course including dates/times, pre-requisites and requirements specific to the course you are enrolled in.
  • You must provide an email address so we can send you your enrolment confirmation.

  • BSB30115 Certificate III Business

    This qualification reflects the role of individuals who use well-developed skills in areas such as customer service, developing business documentation and continuous improvement systems.

    BSB40415 Certificate IV in Small Business Management

    This qualification reflects the role of individuals who use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of small business contexts. They apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others, and have responsibility for the output of others.

  • CHC33015 – Certificate III in Individual Support

    This qualification reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason. Work involves using discretion and judgement in relation to individual support as well as taking responsibility for own outputs.

  • CHC50113 Diploma Early Childhood Education and Care

    This course intends to provide participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide support in development and care of children. Create educational and exciting experiences for young children.

    CHC30113 Certificate III Early Childhood Education and Care

    This course intends to provide participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively care, create and engage in exciting educational programs to assist development of young children.

  • AHC21610 Certificate II in Landscaping

    This qualification provides an occupational outcome in floriculture. The floriculture industry expects this qualification to be achieved to meet job outcomes at this level.  This qualification is suitable for an Australian Apprenticeship. Job roles and titles vary across different industry sectors. Possible job titles relevant to this qualification include: flower grower.


    AHC30910 Certificate III Landscaping Construction

    This qualification provides a general vocational outcome in landscape construction. The landscaping industry expects this qualification to be achieved to meet job outcomes at this level. Further training pathways from this qualification include, but are not limited to, Certificate IV in Horticulture or Diploma of Landscape Design.

    AHC30710 Certificate III Horticulture

    This qualification provides a general vocational outcome in amenity horticulture. Further training pathways from this qualification include any of the specialist qualifications at Certificate IV. Job roles and titles vary across different industry sectors. Possible job titles relevant to this qualification include: Horticulturist or gardener.


    AHC31310 Certificate III Sports Turf Management

    This qualification provides a general vocational outcome in greenkeeping. The sports turf industry expects this qualification to be achieved to meet job outcomes at this level. Further training pathways from this qualification include, but are not limited to, Certificate IV in Sports Turf Management.

    AHC31010 Certificate III Parks and Gardens

    This qualification provides a vocational outcome in parks and gardens. The parks and gardens industry expects this qualification to be achieved to meet job outcomes at this level. Further training pathways from this qualification include, but are not limited to, Certificate IV in Parks and Gardens.

    AHC20610 Certificate II Parks and Gardens

    This qualification provides a vocational outcome in parks and gardens. The parks and gardens industry expects this qualification to be achieved to meet job outcomes at this level. Further training pathways from this qualification include, but are not limited to, Certificate IV in Parks and Gardens.


    AHC20910 Certificate II Sports Turf Management

    This qualification provides an occupational outcome in green-keeping. The sports turf industry expects this qualification to be achieved to meet job outcomes at this level. Further training pathways from this qualification include, but are not limited to, Certificate III in Sports Turf Management. This qualification is suitable for an Australian Apprenticeship. Job roles and titles vary across different industry sectors. Possible job titles relevant to this qualification include: Grounds person or Assistant Green Keeper.

    AHC20410 Certificate II in Horticulture

    This qualification underpins a range of work functions and job roles that can lead to a horticultural trade qualification. Further training pathways from this qualification include any of the specialist qualifications at Certificate III. Job roles and titles vary across different industry sectors. Possible job titles relevant to this qualification include: Horticulture worker or Horticulture assistant.
